Pay: $40,000 – 50,000 annual salary + Bonus/Commission 

Salary Pay depends on experience

Set Bonus Structure Pay for each file closed from Day 1

Employment Type: Full-Time – 40 hours a week

Hybrid Work Model - Option to Work from home 2 days a week if approved.

Position Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Loan Assistant to support our mortgage advisors throughout the loan process and help deliver an outstanding client experience from application through closing.

This is not simply an administrative position.

You’ll become an integral part of our operations, helping keep files moving, communicating with borrowers and referral partners, anticipating needs before they become problems, and ensuring every client feels cared for throughout their home financing journey.

The ideal candidate enjoys staying organized, solving problems, following systems, and taking ownership without needing constant supervision.

What You’ll Do

* Assist Loan Officers throughout the mortgage process from application to closing

* Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation

* Request and follow up on outstanding conditions

* Maintain accurate loan files and CRM records

* Communicate with borrowers regarding documentation and loan updates

* Coordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, insurance agents, and Realtors

* Monitor loan milestones and proactively keep files on schedule

* Order third-party services when needed (appraisals, verification requests, etc.)

* Prepare disclosures and assist with document collection

* Review incoming documents for completeness before submission

* Keep borrowers informed throughout the process to provide a five-star experience

* Assist with pipeline management and follow-up

* Support the team with administrative projects and process improvements

* Help identify ways to improve workflows and client experience

* Work with marketing partners on email and social campaigns to drive more business

* Nurture past client for repeat business

* Help systematize and prioritize SOPs for the business

* Light admin / assistant to the CEO work as needed 

What We’re Looking For

* Previous mortgage industry experience preferred

* Experience as a Loan Assistant, Loan Officer Assistant, Processor, or similar role

* Strong understanding of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan processes

* Excellent organizational and time management skills

* High attention to detail

* Strong written and verbal communication

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to prioritize multiple files simultaneously

* Positive attitude with a solution-oriented mindset

* Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technology quickly

* Experience with mortgage LOS and CRM – ARIVE , BLINK , GO HIGH LEVEL systems preferred
